You Sank My Tequila Sunrise!

Gizmodo showcased an ingenious remake of the classic Battleship game including alcohol. Dubbed the Enigma, the game's rules involve drinking a shot of your favorite drink whenever you take a hit. If you miss, you take a drink of water. How responsible! In total, it seems that a game would last about eight shots, meaning you'd be getting wasted when your submarine gets wasted. Why hasn't someone created a chain of boardgames-turned-drinking games? Entrepreneurship idea up for grabs!

The Bathroom Sessions

I know, I know. The title’s a little crude. But I wouldn’t expect anything less from Barenaked Ladies. Ed Robertson, co-founder for the Canadian band, has posted a series of music videos of him singing acoustic versions of Barenaked Ladies songs in his bathroom, claiming the space has better acoustics. Occasionally, the other co-founder, Steven Page, makes appearances as well.

I find it darkly amusing that a man can sing about a suicidal window washer while sitting so close to a toilet. Below are two of my favorites.

I love these guys.

Larry David is Hilarious

I wish I had watched this live. This guy is either incredibly neurotic and self-absorbed, or he is a comedic genius.

Was the touche raise in an episode of Seinfeld?

Easter Time, Easter Time... At Wal-Mart

I've found the new thing to entertain myself with on long trips. Luckily I have several coming up in July. This song is 22 minutes long, and the composers claim that less than 200 individuals in the world will enjoy it. It is supposed to be the most unwanted song ever. It's hilarious. My favorite part is when the opera singer repeats "Nonsense" and "Yahoo" several times, right before little kids start singing, "Yom Kippur, Yom Kippur!"

Quizno's Commercial

Fortunately, this remake doesn't stay very true to the original. Bizarre idea for an ad. The allusion doesn't make me want any Quizno's though.

Shoutout to Tom and Someone (Bet You Can't Guess Who)

Ah, Stumbleupon. I found an interesting website today called Surviving the World. It's a webcomic made by a guy named Dante Shepherd, who writes random life lessons (or charts, or non sequitirs) on a chalk board and takes a picture of it. Particularly bored, I decided to look through the archive, and I found two panels that reminded me of two friends of mine. I couldn't agree with these images more.

Playoffs, Baby! Post Season!

Who doesn't love these commercials? Well, apparently Dwight Howard, but who gives a shit? Kobe and Lebron, living together, as muppets. Seems ripe for sitcom, much better than the Geico Cavemen. They're hilarious, and they make me want to see a Lebron vs. Kobe final. Check them all out.

I like the Cool Kids instrumental on the last one.
